Meri Brown moved to Flagstaff, Utah, in 2018, along with the rest of her polygamist family. The move marked the beginning of the end for the group. Since the move, TLC has documented the unraveling of the polygamist clan on Sister Wives. Three of Kody Brown’s four wives have left him and Flagstaff behind. Recently, Meri Brown revealed that she was never into the idea of living in Arizona and left as soon as possible.

Meri Brown says Flagstaff was never for her

Meri Brown has thrived since moving away from Flagstaff. Sister Wives viewers assumed getting away from Kody did the mother of one a world of good. While that may be true, moving away from Arizona helped, too. During a chat with People in December, Meri revealed that she missed absolutely nothing about Flagstaff, or, at the very least, she didn’t miss calling the famed Dark Sky City home.

Despite spending several years in Flagstaff, the small business owner never set down roots and admitted that she never made friends in the town. Her lack of close connection in Flagstaff was a deviation from the norm for Meri. She told the publication that the city never felt like home and that it hadn’t been on her radar before Kody Brown suggested the move to her and her sister wives.

The reason behind the Flagstaff move has always been up for debate. Kody Brown has spent years insisting that it was his idea to move everyone away from Las Vegas because of the liberal city’s influence. Still, most Sister Wives fans don’t believe him. His own children have sold him out, making it clear that Robyn Brown orchestrated the move.

Gwendolyn Brown, Kody’s child with Christine Brown, has stated that the family moved to Arizona to appease Robyn Brown. In a video once hosted on her now defunct Patreon account, Gwen revealed that the family moved to Arizona because Robyn’s eldest son, Dayton Brown, was planning to attend college there.

Where does Meri Brown live now?

Meri Brown spends a lot of time working and traveling, but when she heads home, it’s to Parowan, Utah, at least for now. Meri moved to Parown after announcing her divorce from Kody because she already owned a home in the town and was familiar with the area. She has spent the last two years there, carving out a life, making friends, and healing from the end of her marriage. Still, she never suggested it was her forever home.

Meri told People that she had planned to regroup in Parowan for a couple of years before making further decisions. January marked two years since she announced the end of her marriage. She hasn’t made any moves yet, but she seems to be preparing for life after Sister Wives. Where that life will take her is anyone’s guess.
