Jennifer Aniston recently hit a new public milestone with her boyfriend, Jim Curtis, as she interviewed him for his new book. In a rare public moment, the couple shared personal anecdotes and life lessons with the audience. However, what became a takeaway from the session was the pair’s fun banter and the Friends star’s racy joke about her partner.
Many noted that the couple had impeccable chemistry throughout the session. According to the Daily Mail, Aniston also shared an anecdote from the time she went to high school. While seated in the Kaufmann Concert Hall in New York, she reminisced about the time she used to “dodge balls” to go to her gym class.

The actress said, “I went to Steiner school just down the street so that I would come to this gym every Thursday. And I wasn’t very sporty, but we had to do dodgeball, and there were these huge red balls.” She continued to share the incident, saying, “And there was no field; it was just indoors, so you had to run for your life. So it’s quite a full-circle moment to be back here with you.” Making the conversation take a fun turn, she looked at Curtis and joked, “Well… speaking of dodging balls!”
Her racy joke cracked the audience as they erupted with laughter. At one point, Aniston also addressed her remarks and asked Curtis, “Have I completely embarrassed you?” The hypnotherapist then replied with a yes, adding, “A lot.”
Aniston and Curtis reportedly met last year after a mutual friend introduced them. Their bond grew romantic over months before photographers spotted them vacationing in Spain last July. Although insiders confirmed they were dating, the couple did not make their relationship Instagram official until last November.
In the past few months, the couple became more public about their romance. From red carpet appearances to PDA-filled Instagram posts and interviews, they already have fans referring to them as goals.
Besides the Murder Mystery star, Curtis also grew close to her friends. According to People, the transformational coach opened up about his relationship with Aniston and her “group of best friends that are like family” during his appearance on The Jamie Kern Lima Show. The author noted how he feels “blessed” to be welcomed into that family of friends.
Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Jason Bateman, and Amanda Anka are some of Aniston’s closest friends. The couple was also recently seen having dinner with them. Curtis described his girlfriend’s close circle as a “beautiful community and group of people.”
