Meghan Markle’s latest move reportedly has Prince Harry worried about their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. An insider says the Duke of Sussex, 40, is concerned with how much the Duchess of Sussex, 43, is showing the world glimpses of their kids as she returns to the lifestyle world

Meghan Markle’s is giving the world more and more glimpses of her and Harry’s kids

Meghan’s let the world in on her life as a mother to her and Harry’s two kids, Archie, 5, and Lili, 3, more than ever since the start of 2025. In With Love, Meghan, which has another season on the way, Meghan shared that Lili invented her own “cleaning song.” As for Archie, she told her friends he caught two fish on a 2024 family vacation. (She baked them, and the kids “loved” it.)

“This show is Meghan’s baby,” an insider told Radar Online, noting that for Harry, “the sun rises and sets around Meghan—she can do no wrong.” Outside of Meghan’s Netflix series, she’s posted shots of Archie and Lili (with obscured faces) to Instagram for her 2.3 million followers to see. The kids have also made occasional cameos on their mom’s Instagram Stories with tiny fingers, a sweet voiceover, or a peek at pajamas.

Additionally, Lili made a cameo on the As Ever homepage, once again with her face obscured, before Meghan updated the site with a first look at her product line-up

Harry doesn’t want Archie and Lili to be used as ‘tools’

While Meghan “can do no wrong” as far as Harry’s concerned, he’s still worried about giving the public more glimpses of Archie and Lili. That could mean anecdotes on the Suits alum’s Netflix show or visuals on social media.

An insider claimed Meghan’s push to become a lifestyle entrepreneur with her Netflix show and As Ever brand has become what the outlet described as a “nightmare” for Harry. The duke, the source shared, is worried Archie and Lili will become “tools” to help build Meghan’s brand.

Meanwhile, all the criticism online “really disturbs Harry.” (Remember, he once described his own upbringing as a cross between a zoo and The Truman Show.) “He’s desperate to shield their children from all the online haters and backlash,” they said. “But he’s powerless to stop it.”

Up until now, “Harry and Meghan have been guarded when it comes to their children. Though Meghan has clearly lightened up a little.”

Photos of Harry and Meghan’s kids have to come ‘sooner or later’

Previously, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond explained how glimpses of Archie and Lili will eventually lead to photos

Harry and Meghan are “fiercely protective of their children.” Why? Because of “Harry’s experience of having cameras trained on him when he was a little boy—and ever since.” Bond continued, telling the U.K.’s Mirror that giving the world a glimpse of the kids ramps up public interest. So, at some point, Harry and Meghan will have to release photos of Archie and Lili.

“Of course, seeing only glimpses of them makes them even more interesting to the public,” she said. “And it brings extra attention to whichever video they appear in, which is commercially valuable. Sooner or later, they are bound to release pictures of the children.”

And if they don’t? “Otherwise, there’s a real danger that paparazzi will follow them until they get what they want in the hope that a newspaper or magazine somewhere in the world will buy the pictures,” she added.
