Gary Le Vox is teaming up with Akon and De la Ghetto for his upcoming summer single

On Tuesday, the Rascal Flatts frontman was spotted in Hollywood, Florida, filming a video for his song, “Hold the Umbrella.” The smiling trio, who were all dressed in white, chilled on a private yacht during the taping. Filming also took place at the DAER Nightclub in Hollywood’s Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

The song, which is out May 16, is “about drinking, having fun,” De La Ghetto, who said his favorite drink in tequila and pineapple, told WSVN’s Deco Drive

“I’m feeling good. I’m excited and blessed just to be in the presence of these two gentlemen right here,” the Puerto Rican star added. “It’s a beautiful thing.”

Le Vox said that “Hold the Umbrella” wouldn’t exist without his musical collaborators.

“They made the song what it was, you know,” he said.

Senegalese-American rapper Akon said that even though he’s “more of a mocktail drinker” he couldn’t pass up the chance to work with one of the biggest names in country music.

“International artists as we are, we always look for that moment to where we can collaborate, because I’ve been trying to collaborate like this all my life and trying to find a way to fit country in.”
