The rapper and father of two was reportedly on the hunt for a new lady love during a club appearance, but he had some rules. He is on a strict budget. 50 Cent, who announced his planned celibacy last year, has weighed in on Ray J’s antics.

While Ray J and Princess Love’s dramatic relationship has made headlines several times over the years, their most recent public dustup has pushed him to look for a new love interest. Following news that police detained Ray J after an explosive argument, a video of the rapper looking for a romantic partner during a night out has surfaced.
A few days back, a TikTok user uploaded a video showing Ray J speaking to a crowd inside a nightclub. Kim Kardashian’s ex took the opportunity to shoot his shot, telling the crowd that he was looking for a girl to spend the night with but was on “a budget.” Ray J said he had 5 to 10 ‘bands’ to spend. While the clip is just a short snippet of the night, no one seemed particularly interested in the music artist’s offer. Ray J has not responded to the clip.

Ray J hasn’t responded to the clip, but 50 Cent has something to say about it. 50 Cent, who announced his abstinence plan last year, took to Instagram to share the clip of Ray J. He went on to call him “crazy” and suggested he’s lost his mind. Clearly, the famed rapper didn’t think Ray J’s filmed solicitation was the best look.
In 2024, 50 Cent announced his plan to remain abstinent for a time so he could focus on work. He touted the benefits of the practice during a September 2024 visit to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. 50 Cent said he eventually wanted someone to love in his life, but not at the moment. Based on his reaction to Ray J’s recent antics, we assume he won’t make announcements at a nightclub when he is ready to find his next love interest.
