We know Meghan Markle sent some of her new As Ever products to a few of her celebrity pals, but did she also send some to her father-in-law? According to a report, the Duchess of Sussex did send a package with some of her As Ever goodies to King Charles.

Royal correspondent Neil Sean told Fox News Digital that “a very well-placed source” revealed that a “sample box of delights from As Ever has been delivered to Clarence House with a note.”

Sean said: “An As Ever gift box [was sent], which included the jams, honey, crêpes mix and various assortments, according to a very well-placed source. This was a gift idea from … the Duchess of Sussex.”

Another royal expert, Ian Pelham Turner, opined that if Meghan did send a package to Prince Harry’s father, it was her way of “building bridges” with the family.

“I understand how she may not feel respected still, but tiny gestures like this are her way of showing compassion for what the king is going through and helping to rebuild bridges between Prince William, Prince Harry, and the king,” Pelham Turner opined.

However, not everyone is buying this story as several royal watchers believe the claim that Meghan sent the monarch anything was just created to give her some good PR. And now The Mirror has noted that a source close to the Sussexes shut down the reports, insisting: “This did not happen.”
