‘RHONJ’: Joe Giudice Says Teresa Is a ‘Beautiful and Wonderful Mother’
Joe Giudice from The Real Housewives of New Jersey sent warm and loving wishes to estranged wife Teresa on Mother’s Day.

“I want to start by telling you how thankful I am for you. I will never be able to say it enough times; THANK YOU. Thank you for everything. I know while I’m not around You will always do whatever needs to be done to make sure our girls are safe. You are beautiful and wonderful mother I will always be grateful to you,” he shared on Instagram. Adding, “You are a great mom❤️🙏🌹.”
Joe and Teresa decided to divorce following Joe’s release from prison and subsequent ICE custody. The couple was married for 20 years.
The couple remains civil
Despite fights and exchanging barbs about each other during their marriage, Joe and Teresa are taking the high road now that they’ve gone their separate ways. Teresa offered an update about the divorce during the season 10 reunion.
She said divorce proceedings are moving slowly. “I mean, we didn’t get there yet. We’re gonna take it one step at a time,” she said, Bravo’s The Daily Dish reports.
But she insists the couple, “had a great marriage.” She continued, “I was not unhappy because I’m telling you the only time he treated me like the way that he spoke to me like that was on the show. He would try to act like this macho guy. I don’t know what it was. But behind the scenes, he was good to me.”
Family comes first for Teresa and Joe
Teresa added that her children were aware of the derogatory remarks Joe had made about her. But she is choosing to paint their father in a positive light, while at the same time, remaining honest with them. “But I tell my daughters. I’m very, very open with them. I say to them, ‘Daddy’s a great father. I don’t want a guy to speak to you like the way Daddy speaks to me.’ I’m like, ‘I want you to find a guy that puts you on a pedestal in front of everybody.'”
The family also came together when Teresa’s father, Giacinto Gorga died in early April. Joe shared a number of photos and videos of his father in law on Instagram, clearly devastated. “So happy 😁 I was able to see him dance 💃 he rarely ever danced Rest In Peace great man ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏,” Joe wrote along with a video.
He also made a tribute video, honoring his father in law. “Thank you, I will forever be grateful. It is because of you that my girls know how to cook pasta, eggplant, and how to drive (lol). Thank you for always being a great grandfather and FIL. You will be greatly missed by all of us especially because your absence was never seen, but you taught us to not to be afraid and never fear the future! My girls are strong from our great team effort!
Today, I honor you for helping support my girls dreams,” Joe wrote.
