Two years after Mackenzie Standifer filed for divorce from Teen Mom star Ryan Edwards, they are finally getting around to inventorying property. The process has not been drama-free and it doesn’t look like that will change anytime soon. As is typical in the Teen Mom universe, nothing can happen according to plan. During Ryan Edwards’ planned visit to take stock of his property left at Standifer’s residence, Standifer and her father called 911 to handle an escalating situation.

A judge ordered Mackenzie Standifer to allow Ryan Edwards into her home

Earlier this year, Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer faced off in divorce court. The couple, who have been trying to end their marriage for two years, had yet to divide marital property. In court, Edwards accused Standifer of ridding the marital property of his goods, including “sentimental items.” A judge then ordered Standifer to allow Edwards into the home to inventory his property.

According to the order, Edwards was to appear at the property he once shared with Standifer on an agreed-upon date. Standifer was not to be on the premises at the time but was allowed to have a friend or family member at the home to supervise the situation. Standifer lived up to the end of the bargain. Apparently, Edwards did not.

Mackenzie Standifer and her father called 911 during a planned meeting

Ryan Edwards did attend the planned meeting, but he was not alone. Mackenzie Standifer’s father was on hand to oversee the process but called 911 when it became clear he couldn’t shadow both Edwards and his parents around the home. Edwards showed up with his parents, Jenn and Larry Edwards, without informing Bob Standifer, who the court designated to be on-site while the walkthrough happened.

Mackenzie Standifer, for her part, followed the court order. She was not on the premises at the time, as stipulated by the order. She called 911 after hearing from her father. According to the U.S. Sun, Standifer told a 911 dispatcher that she wanted a police presence to ensure no further issues occurred and that her father was protected. She noted that Edwards had previously trashed her home, referring to a February 2023 incident. During the incident, Edwards entered the house when Standifer was out, upended furniture, wrote disturbing messages on the walls, and defecated on the floor.

Tennessee police are no strangers to the former couple’s struggles. Standifer called for police backup when dealing with Ryan Edwards several times in recent history. Last year, she called 911 and requested police presence when Edwards appeared at her home looking for a computer cord. He was unable to find the cord he was reportedly searching for. He later texted her threatening messages.

It is unclear when Standifer and Edwards will face off in court next.
