These singles are done waiting. TLC’s new reality series, Virgins, profiles four late-blooming adults who have not yet had sex.

The show, which premieres June 9, follows this group of 30- and 40-somethings as they step “outside their comfort zones and taking big swings to finally go all the way, emotionally and physically.”

“From navigating awkward first dates to exploring a bondage class and working with an intimacy partner they’re putting it all on the line in hopes of finally sealing the deal.” TLC’s description continues.

Who is brave enough to open up about their lack of sexual experience on national TV? Let’s meet the Virgins cast.

Deanne, 35, is beautiful, ambitious, and has high standards for any man she meets. Despite her charm and success, this Angeleno’s finickiness holds her back.

“I do believe in the fairytale,” she says in the trailer. “I don’t hook up with people. I’ve never had a boyfriend. Like, that is abnormal … I’m extremely worried that having sex is never going to happen for me.”

While Deanne’s friends have encouraged her to start dating, she always finds a reason to walk away from a potential partner. Will she finally let her guard down?

Alex is a stereotypical case of failure to launch. This 34-year-old lives in his parent’s attic in Reading, Pennsylvania. His wheels are his mom’s minivan and his last real date was 10 years ago. But his sisters think things need to change for their brother.

“Alex is a great guy,” one says. “I don’t know why he’s still a virgin.”

One reason Alex has yet to meet someone? He’s “scared to approach women,” he admits. But Alex’s sisters are up for a challenge. They’re determined to push Alex toward independence – and perhaps even romance.

Rhasha, 42, lives in Jacksonville, Florida, and isn’t a stranger to relationships. She has one divorce under her belt, but she’s been celibate all her life, which she realizes is “crazy.” But after splitting from her past partner and a transformational journey that involved weight loss surgery and shedding 80 pounds, she’s ready to jump back into dating. Rhasha is ready to explore her sexuality, deciding to dive into role play and BDSM. Will she finally lose her virginity and embrace her liberated self?

Sonali, 37, lives in Hollywood and has big, romantic dreams for her first time, including jazz, wine, and rose petals. Unfortunately, reality hasn’t quite matched her fantasy. Given her conservative South Asian upbringing and fears of intimacy, she’s barely dated, let alone had sex.

“I’m a prude,” she confesses in the trailer, before speculating that it might not be possible for her to have sex.

Despite her fears, Sonali begins a personal journey toward sexual awakening. Can she overcome her anxieties and finally embrace pleasure on her own terms?

Virgins premieres Monday, June 9 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on TLC.
