Many fans around the world watched the royal family celebrate Queen Elizabeth II‘s Platinum Jubilee a few years back.

It was actually the first time the public really got to see Prince William and the Princess of Wales’ (formally known as Kate Middleton) youngest son’s big personality. Prince Louis nearly stole the show that weekend with his adorable antics. Parents all over the world did feel for Kate though when he started acting up and getting rowdy during the Platinum Pageant. But that wasn’t the first time Kate had to handle her children misbehaving in front of cameras.

She once had to stop Prince George from having a meltdown when he attended the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford. Kate also had to deal with Princess Charlotte throwing an all-out temper tantrum on a tarmac in 2017 on the final day of the family’s royal visit to Germany.

Now, a video is resurfacing from another day when Kate had to keep her two older children from acting up as cameras rolled.

Kate was seen shushing her children before her sister Pippa’s wedding

Trying to get children to behave at a wedding is not an easy task, and Kate knows all about that after George and Charlotte were in her sister Pippa Middleton’s wedding.

On May 20, 2017, Pippa married James Matthews, a hedge fund manager and former professional racing driver, at St. Mark’s Church in Berkshire, England. At the time, George and Charlotte were just 3 and 2 years old, and it was up to Kate to manage her little ones and the rest of the young bridal party as they ushered into the church.

Cameras caught Kate shushing them to quiet down before they even got inside. But it was outside after the ceremony when she had to scold George and stop Charlotte from throwing a fit.

Kate kept Princess Charlotte calm while correcting Prince George who ended up in tears

The throwback video has over 1 million views and hundreds of comments.

The 29-second clip shows a relatable moment parents dread when they sense their child is about to have a temper tantrum.

After the wedding, the bridal party exited the church and Kate is seen kneeling next to Charlotte who exhibits the first sign of a tantrum coming as she backs up slightly and stomps her feet. This is the last place Kate wants her daughter to do that so she quickly diffuses the situation by standing up, gently taking Charlotte’s hand, and turning to shift her attention. George then walks over and Kate reaches out to touch her son’s hair.

But when they turn to leave it’s George who looks ready to lose it. Kate turns around with a “that’s enough now” finger point to get him to stop and walk towards the car. He complied and put his head down as he appeared to cry.

There was also another moment that day when George got into trouble with his mom.

According to the Daily Mail, Kate caught him purposely stepping on the train of his Aunt Pippa’s gown. The Princess of Wales gave her eldest child a stern talking-to for his actions.

The moment also ended with the future king in tears.
