Weezer fans hoping to see the band at Coachella have nothing to worry about. Despite some serious legal and medical troubles in his family, Scott Shriner, Weezer’s bassist, will be with the band. His wife, who was shot by Police and then booked for attempted murder, is unlikely to be on hand.

Scott Shriner is dealing with plenty of legal issues in his family, but that’s not going to stop him from performing with Weezer at Coachella. The New York Post caught up with Shriner shortly after his wife, Jillian Lauren Shriner, was booked on attempted murder charges after getting involved in a police chase. While most stars might have opted not to comment, Shriner was happy to weigh in.

The famed bassist thanked the publication for asking how his wife was doing before insisting she was doing alright. While he walked his beloved dogs, he finished the chat by insisting that Weezer would see them at Coachella. Shriner didn’t mention if his wife would be at the iconic music festival, but it seems unlikely with her legal troubles looming. The band is set to perform on Saturday.
