[Warning: Spoilers ahead for tonight’s Jeopardy! episode]

Jeopardy! Round: Strong start for Josh
The game kicked off with the categories Florence + The Simple Machine, Country Music History, Rhyme Time, Constitutional Amendments, I Got Me A Car, and It’s As Big As A Whale. Josh started strong, finishing the round with $7,400. Allison sat in second with $4,600, while Bryce’s correct Daily Double response kept him in the game at $3,800.
Double Jeopardy: A close game
The competition intensified in Double Jeopardy with the categories Birth Of A Nation, 20tg Century Novels, Getting Religion, Type “A.B.”: Negative Or Positive, Nepo Parents, and Oxymorons. Josh remained in the lead thanks in part to a Daily Double, ending the round with $15,000. Bryce jumped into second with $12,400, and Allison wasn’t far off in third with $11,800.
What was tonight’s Final Jeopardy clue?
The Final Jeopardy category was Communication, with the clue:
“Invented by a student in 1824, this system has a total of 64 combinations”
The correct response: braille. Josh’s big bet backfired when he wrote down Morse Code. It cost him $9,801, dropping his total to $5,199. That opened the door for Bryce, who correctly responded and added $3,000 to his total and become the new Jeopardy! champion with $15,400. Allison could not come up with a response and finished third with $3,100.
Bryce Wargin continues his run as Jeopardy! champion on Tuesday. Can he extend his streak even further? We’ll find out in the next episode!
