Jeopardy! Round: A even start for all 3 players
The game kicked off with the categories U.S. Geography, Book Title Adjectives, Something To Wear, Your Name Is A Sentence, On The Side Of The Angels, and Modern Lingo. Mike took an early lead, finishing the round with $4,400. Josh ($3,600) and Revell ($2,000) weren’t far behind.
Double Jeopardy: Josh pulls away
The competition intensified in Double Jeopardy with the categories In The 19Tth Century, Pop Culture Titles In Roman Numerals, Opera, Business Terms, Well, That’s Just Science, and From “M” To “M”. Josh hit both Daily Double clues as he pulled away from the competition, finishing the round in first with $21,600. Mike sat in second with $7,600, followed by Revell in third with $1,200.
What was tonight’s Final Jeopardy clue?
The Final Jeopardy category was Geographic Neighbors, with the clue:
“The ‘Hermit Nation’ and the ‘Land of the Morning Calm’ are nicknames for these two neighbors”
All three contestants failed to come up with the correct response of North and South Korea. Josh guessed Nepal and Bhutan, costing him $1,600. But he was never in danger of losing, adding a sixth-consecutive victory to his record for a total of $100,202 in winnings.
Mike finished in second after incorrectly jotting down Scotland and England, dropping him to $6,600. Revell landed in third after his answer of Tibet and Nepal subtracted $1,100 from his total and left him with $100.
With his sixth consecutive victory, Josh Weikert continues his run as Jeopardy! champion. Can he extend his streak even further? We’ll find out in the next episode!
