Jada and Will’s home sales: What we know

Throughout their 26-year marriage, Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith purchased several homes located in California and Baltimore, Maryland. Pinkett Smith hails from Baltimore and attended the Baltimore School of the Arts.

According to a new report Radar Online, the power couple has quietly offloaded several properties. The outlet cites sources who claim the duo recently sold their five-bedroom Baltimore home, located in the upscale suburb of Owings Mills.

The report also claims the couple is selling a home in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles. It was initially purchased, per Radar Online, in 2010.

The couple raised their family; kids Willow and Jaden and Will’s son Trey from his first marriage to Sheree Zampino, in Calabasas, California. Smith and Pinkett Smith reportedly also own property in Malibu, California, as well as their own separate homes.

Radar claims the couple is letting go of the properties due to marital strife. Smith and Pinkett Smith have not commented on the report.

Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith no longer live together

The New York Times reported that on her 50th birthday in 2021, Jada Pinkett Smith moved out from the home she and Will shared in Calabasas. The purchase came five years after the Girls Trip star quietly separated from Smith in 2016.

The couple later shared more private details about their marriage in a viral 2020 episode of Red Table Talk, Pinkett Smith’s Facebook Watch show. Pinkett Smith revealed the couple broke up for a time and she began an “entanglement” with the singer August Alsina.

Pinkett Smith admitted she and Smith didn’t publicly reveal the details of their marriage struggles because they weren’t “ready.” She added, “How do we present that to people? And we hadn’t figured that out.”

To promote her book Worthy, Pinkett Smith spoke to TODAY‘s Hoda Kotb, revealing further details of her separation from Smith. “I made a promise that there will never be a reason for us to get a divorce. We will work through whatever. I just haven’t been able to break that promise.”
