Meghan Markle is an American actor married to Prince Harry of the British royal family. Also known as the Duchess of Sussex, she is best known for her role on the hit TV show Suits.
Meghan was born in Los Angeles, California, in 1981. She pursued a career as an actor, with her first TV role being a guest spot on General Hospital and her most acclaimed role being Rachel Zane on the USA Networks series Suits. From 2014 to 2017, she ran a now-defunct lifestyle blog called The Tig.
In 2018, she married Prince Harry at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. On May 6, 2019, Meghan and Harry welcomed a baby boy, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. In November 2020, Meghan shared she had a miscarriage. On June 4, 2021, the couple welcomed a baby girl, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.
On Jan. 8, 2020, Meghan and Harry stepped down as senior royals, ultimately settling down in California. In March 2021, the couple sat down with Oprah Winfrey for a tell-all interview.
