Sex and the City is an HBO series that follows Carrie Bradshaw, a sex columnist, and her closest friends Charlotte, Miranda, and Samantha as they navigate sex, dating, love, career, and friendships Each woman offers something different: Carrie Bradshaw, a hopeless romantic and writer looking for a big love; Charlotte York, a blue-blooded, respected art dealer who dreamt of traditional life with a husband and kids; Miranda Hobbes, a high-powered and independent corporate lawyer who was often too busy and too particular for a relationship; Samantha Jones, a successful publicist and sexually adventurous woman who doesn't like commitment. The series was lauded for its candidness and relatability, with fans often asking the question "Are you a Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda, or a Samantha?"
