Apple TV+ is a U.S. subscription on-demand and live-TV streaming service featuring original TV shows and movies. The internet-based platform competes with Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, HBO Max, Netflix, and others.
Apple TV+ launched in 2019 with fare such as The Morning Show, starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, and the Jason Momoa sci-fi series See. Current must-watch original shows include the Emmy Award-winning sports comedy Ted Lasso, the Korean drama Dr. Brain, the bilingual comedy Acapulco, and the psychological thriller Servant, executive-produced by M. Night Shyamalan.
In addition, acclaimed original movies include the film-fest darling Coda, the Werner Herzog documentary Fireball: Visitors From Darker Worlds, and Sofia Coppola’s On the Rocks.
