Lucifer
Lucifer is an American drama/mystery that premiered in 2016 on Fox before moving to Netflix. The TV show stars Welsh actor Tom Ellis as Lucifer Morningstar — DC Comics‘ version of Satan — who has grown weary of reigning Hell and retires to Los Angeles to learn more about humanity. There, the dashing Devil opens a piano bar, tools around in a Corvette, and forms a relationship with a homicide detective.
The series is known for its avid fan base. When Fox’s cancellation of the show after three seasons sent fans into an uproar, Netflix picked it up, only to announce the show would end after Season 5. But once again, fans won and got a sixth and final season.
