NCIS: Los Angeles
NCIS: Los Angeles is a CBS primetime drama that made its debut in 2009 starring LL Cool J and Chris O’Donnell. It is a spinoff series to NCIS, which was introduced as a backdoor pilot of the popular series JAG.
The series focuses on an LA-based team of agents who work for the Office of Special Projects of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. They collectively track down criminals that pose a threat to the nation’s security. This team, led by Henrietta "Hetty" Lange (Linda Hunt), goes deep undercover, using false identities and advanced technology.
The NCIS franchise debuted a second spinoff in 2014: NCIS: New Orleans. This series ended in 2021 after seven seasons. The franchise welcomed its third spinoff, NCIS: Hawai’i, in 2021 starring Vanessa Lachey.
