Omari Hardwick
Omari Hardwick is an American actor, producer, poet, and podcaster best known for portraying James “Ghost” St. Patrick on the critically acclaimed show Power. Before landing the lead in the hit Starz series, he appeared on TV shows such as Saved, Dark Blue, and Being Mary Jane.
The actor also boasts a long list of movie credits. They include the action/comedy Kick-Ass, the horror/thriller Spell, and the Zach Snyder-directed zombie flick Army of the Dead, starring Guardians of the Galaxy alum Dave Bautista.
In 2019, Hardwick debuted his podcast, Poetics. It features discussions with rap heavyweights such as 50 Cent, Big Daddy Kane, and Method Man. The multihyphenate is also a prolific poet and spoken-word artist, having written over 4,000 poems.
In addition, Hardwick’s latest projects include a starring role opposite Toni Collette in Pieces of Her. The 2022 Netflix series is based on author Karin Slaughter’s thriller of the same name.
