Ryan Reynolds
Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds is famous for portraying the sarcastic, profanity-spewing Marvel superhero Deadpool. The character's eponymous 2016 superhero flick was a critical and commercial hit, a rarity among R-rated movies. It was also sweet redemption for Reynolds after starring in the 2011 DC Comics flop Green Lantern.
His 100-plus acting credits include other action/comedy films such as 2021's Free Guy, the 2009 rom-com The Proposal, and the animated films Pokémon Detective Pikachu and The Croods. But the actor has also tackled dramatic roles, including a man with schizophrenia in 2015's The Voices and a kidnap victim buried alive in the 2010 psychological thriller Buried.
Reynolds has been married to his Green Lantern co-star, Gossip Girl's Blake Lively, since 2012. They have three children. He was previously married to Black Widow actor Scarlett Johansson.
